In 1985 I trained with Ted McLean, a greatly respected dentist with fifty years experience. I eventually took over Ted’s business based at the Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne and have continued to build on it. Since then the profession has provided me fantastic opportunities to travel and work in different countries and with some of the most experienced horse dentists in the world.

It has been rewarding to be a major part of the evolution of the profession through the start and development of the EDAA.

With growing interest in this field, it’s research and treatments, horse dentistry will continue to absorb me, as long as the welfare and successful longevity of the animals is the main focus.
